Your IQ can be improved

Many people these days still believe that IQ test score is a fixed number, which shows your brain capacity, intellectual capability and brain power. However, contrary to this popular believe, it is easy to improve both your IQ test score and brain power. You can easily improve your mathematical, musical, verbal and memory skills by doing some simple exercises and using special techniques. So this article shows you these simple techniques which will help you to improve your IQ score in no time!

Many people believe that your IQ determines how smart a person is, and many people believe that those with an IQ of above 160 are genuises. Scientist believe that a person's IQ can be improved as long as he excercising his brain. This just proves that the theory that someone's IQ cannot be improved, wrong. Simply saying, a person's brain is like a muscle, which can be exercised and improved. Now, let's move on to how we should go about improving our IQ.

Learn
It’s as simple as that. Brain is like a muscle (actually most attractive one according to many women). So you have to train your Brain like all your muscles to keep your body fit. So learn a lot, but be sure to use various modern ways of learning that enrich the learning experience. For instance, experience with all of your senses. Instead of reading all of your learning material look for audio information, instead of listening to boring lectures look for online videos and etc… Learn and absorb as much as you can. But don't go to the limit. You might backfire... That would be terrible as your brain would tend to forget whatever you have learnt and you would want to stop learning.

Take a weekly IQ Test and record your results
If you would like to view your improvements, consider placing the results on a line graph using excel or another graph-compatible program. Bear in mind that many online IQ tests are not legitimate, and many ask for a mobile number at the end for the results. These are spam. The IQ quiz that could be considered the true IQ quiz is the Stanford-Binet and is the only true IQ test accepted by universities.

Take Time to Reflect
Often our lives get so hectic that we become overwhelmed without even realizing it. It becomes difficult to concentrate because nagging thoughts keep interrupting. Spending some time alone in reflection gives you a chance organize your thoughts and prioritize your responsibilities. Afterwards, you’ll have a better understanding of what’s important and what isn’t. The unimportant stuff won’t bother you anymore and your mind will feel less encumbered.
I’m not saying you need to sit on the floor cross-legged and chant ‘ommm’. Anything that allows a bit of prolonged solitude will do. One of my personal favorites is taking a solitary walk. Someone famous said, “All the best ideas occur while walking.” I think he was on to something. Experiment to find the activity that works best for you. Therefore, we should really take IQ Tests ocassionally, and take time to reflect on these results so that we can improve our mind.
A True story on the internet to prove that intelligence can be improved
At one point in his life, John was a dumb-ass simple and straight. John had no job, no money, no brains and no future. It was nearing the end of High School and everyone was getting ready for the final set of exams that would take them to university and college.

But John had nothing going for me! John was told my IQ was low and he had no chance to pass my exams. And for that reason, something drastic had to happen, and it had to happen soon, or he was going to lose my sanity. He was ambitious and he didn't want to give up!

After months of banging his head against the wall, and trying to find a solution to my problems, John found a unique answer that literally changed my life.

3 months later, his memory, concentration, learning, understanding, creativity and overall mental ability had all improved hugely. He passed all my exams with flying colors and distinction. Things started to look brighter (finally!)

6 months on, that sky-rocket reached astronomical levels: His memory had shot up completely - shockingly, it was almost photographic. He could do disgustingly complex calculations in my head and come up with the most intricate of complicated ideas. He had stumbled upon something huge and he couldn't believe it. This was a simple, never before revealed 3 step intelligence increasing system that was working like crazy! They were all laughing.

He still remember the time when he showed this system to my friends. They were all laughing! One of them even said, "your intelligence is genetic and there's nothing you can do. Just accept it! Why would anyone look at your system anyway?!"

But he had the last laugh. He is now a distinguished academic from a world class university. In 2004, his IQ was officially measured (using a variety of IQ tests) to be at least 170.

Minimize Television Watching
People love vegetating in front of the television, myself included more often than I’d like. The problem is watching television doesn’t use your mental capacity OR allow it to recharge. It’s like having the energy sapped out of a muscle without the health benefits of exercise.
Don’t you feel drained after a couple hours of TV? Your eyes are sore and tired from being focused on the light box for so long. You don’t even have the energy to read a book.
When you feel like relaxing, try reading a book instead. If you’re too tired, listen to some music. When you’re with your friends or family, leave the tube off and have a conversation. All of these things use your mind more than television and allow you to relax.
Good Luck!

My Thoughts:

This is a very interesting article. What amazing ways to improve your IQ! And, I've tried it. I think it works! I'm not sure whether it's just my psychology or it's really working. But I can feel it. Actually, the ways to improve our IQ are present in our everyday lives. We just have to acknowledge it and know what we are doing.

I've also realised it's not only through mugging which will increase your IQ. I've always taught that by mugging vigorously, you would be able to increase your IQ and do well in your tests. However, this is not true. This article has taught me that studying is not always your life. We need to learn how to relax and unwind. Even simple things such as reading a book would be able to increase your IQ gradually. In the past, I used to think that studying like 7-8h a day would be effective but I did not know I was burning myself out. It was only when I came across this article that I realised that we must learn to take time off for relaxing, such as reading a book.

However, relaxing does not mean we play computer games for long periods of time. This would only affect our eyesight and studies. We might even get addicted to these games and that would result in disastrous consequences. Maybe, we can relax by simply reading a book, or having a conversation with a friend. All these ensure that our minds are relaxed. Therefore, I feel that there are definitely better ways to improve our IQ other than just studying.
